High Society Episode 11 started out in a bang when Yoon Ha discovered the true motives of Joon Gi towards her. She was still confused to organize the clues she have with her hands. Her childhood photo and her limited edition hair pin suggests that Joon Gi know her true background way before she confess it to him. At first, she left Joon Gi with a confused expression.
Upon returning to his unit, Joon Gi found out that his mother cleaned his drawer and that Yoon Ha discovered the childhood photo and hair pin. Joon Gi then followed Yoon Ha on the parking lot for which she is still confuse about Joon Gi's motive about her. She then confronted her and asked her everything. She asked her as to when did he really know that she is the daughter of a chaebol family. He then honestly confide everything and tell her that he was knowledgeable about her background the moment Chan Soo recognized her the first time in the supermarket.
Joon Gi tell Yoon Ha that her liking of him was not all done by him. He tell her that it was her who initiated and assume all the liking; turning a simple kind of kindness into something else. Yoon Ha cried upon hearing this and open her heart telling him that she loves her and that he should't laugh at her love.
Yoon Ha encountered a little accident while on her way home and Joon Gi was there to rescure her. Fortunately, nothing was damaged besides the car. They had a little more crying and conversations. In the end, Yoon Ha decided to take a taxi and go home. Joon Gi on the other hand, was seen looking at the departing back of Yoon Ha.
Yoon Ha was then seen taking a bath and after a while, facing a mirror telling that she will surely step onto Joon Gi for his dream is her reality. On the other hand, Joon Gi was seen looking out the window crying because of their break up.
On the other side of the story, Ji Yi and Chan Soo had their moment together. Both have checked-in in a hotel after the pouring rain experience. They decided to have a little chat upon arriving there. Ji Yi asked Chan Soo to tell her a little story. He then decided to tell the story of the frog and the scorpion to which for Chan Soo, associates the story between him and Joon Gi. For Ji Yi however, she were able to associate the story to her and Chan Soo into which their relationship are dangerous and could hurt both parties.
The next day, it showed how Yoon Ha changed her hair and clothing style. Dressed in black dress, gold earrings and black choker, she is on her way to Taejin Company to have her first day of work. Putting revenge on Joon Gi is also on her mind.
She decided to meet Chan Soo and asker him to fire Joon Gi. He refused to do so telling her that he is the only one who will decide upon that matter. She also then asked him for a favor asking if he could talked to Incheon Company to choose Taejin Cosmetics to be their partner as this is her first assignment for the company. He agreed for that matter.
On the other side, Yoon Ha's oldest sister called for Joon Gi asking him to be part of the company. He agreed only if given he's desire condition which involves money, rank and benefits. She agreed for that matter.
Taejin Company got the Incheon agreement and Yoon Ha decided to call for Joon Gi for a meeting but the person in charge is on a business meeting making Joon Gi wait for an hour for nothing. Joon Gi then asked if Team Leader Yoon Ha was in the company at that moment.
Joon Gi entered Yoon Ha's office and had a little confrontation. In the confrontation, Joon Gi asked Yoon Ha if she love her, she answered no. He then asked if she love her in those times that she never know of his true motive and she answered yes. Joon Gi then conclude that Yoon Ha should still be loving him as that what love should be.
Yoon Ha turned to him and asked a question as to why did he answered him that night so trutfully, telling her everything in accordance as to how he calculate everything. Joon Gi then confessed that it's because he is inlove with her. Telling her that he fallen in love with her in the process, as to when is also unknown for him.
"Life is more important than Love" according to Joon Gi. He then informed Yoon Ha that soon, he might worked in Taejin as well with the invitation of her sister. If they were an ordinary couple, he might refuse but he will not do that as for him, making a living is more important than the love they felt for each other.
Their conversation ended with Yoon Ha despising her and he saying that she thought Yoon Ha was different. For if she was really in love to him, she wouldn't take revenge and will accept his mistakes for what it is.
The episode concludes with Joon Gi biding his goodbye to Chan Soo informing him that he is moving to another company. They had their goodbyes in agreeable silence in the end.
Chan Soo's mother on the other hand is on the move to make Ji Yi's life miserable starting off with her landlord asking her to leave her place.
It was a very interesting episode for me. There were a lot of things that happened in this episode especially between Yoon Ha and Joon Gi. I personally didn't expect that Joon Gi will reveal everything right away to Yoon Ha starting off with his plan. But he did. Obviously, it means that he indeed love her. But I didn't also expect that he will actually say that he loves her, especially with those tears nearing to got out from his eyes. It was very emotional on his part. I can see his sincerity to Yoon Ha but it was all too late.
Also with this, I am more excited to see how they will pull off this little revenge thing between them. It is fairly obvious that they are in love with each other and I think doing revenge eventhough they both know that they are inlove makes the story more exciting. I am rooting for more moments of them that should prove their love. Joon Gi is not yet in that stage where he would give up having a good life just for love but he will get there. And the process to which makes the story more exciting.
Ji Yi and Chan Soo on the other hand have this very cliche love story. For which his mother is not infavor of her because of her status in life. It may be cliche but still, I am shipping these two couple for they really want to get through their life. I am still excited to see as to how far will Chan Soo go just for his love for Ji Yi.
The best part for me in this episode was when Yoon Ha and Ji Yi are sitting in front of a River while drinking soju. Yoon Ha was still pissed off about Joon Gi and it seems like Ji Yi already know about that. But Ji Yi said to Yoon Ha that somehow, she still understands Joon Gi since they came from the same background. There is really that desire to be on the top especially if you experienced the hardship from the bottom.
